The Mission

Mystical Fathers of Priests in the Divine Will give life to Jesus Christ the Eternal High Priest and to his brother priests in the one Priesthood of Jesus Christ by their paternal fruitfulness. They gift themselves as fathers in a covenant-communion by adopting a Mystical Mother and her Priest-son, and they gift these mothers and sons to Jesus to complete his Holy Family. This spiritual adoption in the Divine Will by the Mystical Father generates new life in the Sacrament of Holy Orders.

The Purpose

The purpose of the mission of Mystical Fathers of Priests in the Divine Will is to fulfil the desire of Jesus, Eternal High Priest, begotten eternally of the Father, and born in the fullness of time of a woman living under the paternal guardianship of St. Joseph, that His brother Priests receive adoption as sons into His Holy Family, and that they be animated by the Spirit of the Father and the Son (Gal 4:6). Living in the Will of God empowers a Mystical Father to be a father and guardian of Jesus and to take Him and His Mother “home…because she has conceived the one who is within her by the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 1:20-21). The Mystical Father gives life to a Mystical Mother and her Priest-son, chosen for him in the hidden counsel of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church and Mother of the Holy Family. He nourishes life in that Priest-son and his Mystical Mother in an eternal covenant-communion, and so completes the Mystical Body of Christ, which is the Church, the Holy Family of the Communion of All Saints.

Blessed Isaac of Stella (+c.1178) describes this mystical exchange and flow of life: “…what the Son of God is by generation, his members are by adoption, according to the text: As sons you have received the Spirit of adoption, enabling you to cry, Abba, Father (cf. Gals. 4:6-7). Through His Spirit, He gave men the power to become sons of God, so that all those He has chosen might be taught by the Firstborn among many brothers to say: Our Father, who art in Heaven…”

Mystical Fathers and Mystical Mothers of Priests in the Divine Will pray, “Our Father….Thy Will be done as in Heaven, so on earth so that the one Priesthood of Jesus Christ may be renewed in all His brothers by those living this mission of spiritual adoption in the Divine Will.”

Title: ‘Corpus Christi: The Crucified and Glorified Christ'.

The key liturgical signs are shown covering the seasons from Ash Wednesday all the way through to the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart. Jesus’ body is painted purple for Lent, red for Good Friday and Pentecost, and gold (white) for Easter; these are the colors of the vestments from Ash Wednesday to Pentecost to the three solemnities of Trinity Sunday, The Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi), and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. He is rising in his crucified body from the darkness (Easter Sunday), and ascending into Heaven (Ascension) to be crowned as Lord by his Father (The Paschal Mystery). The crown has three jewels with the three primary colors (primaries cannot be formed by any other color combinations): Gold (yellow, white) for the Father, Red for the Son, and Blue for the Holy Spirit. From his pierced side flows blood and water indicating the birth of the Church on Good Friday, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart, and the Second Sunday of the Easter Triduum, Divine Mercy Sunday. From his hand he consecrates the Eucharist on Holy Thursday, and also for the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi).
